*This blog is mostly a rough draft for a while, till I decide to start revisions making it better*
Before the trip started was extremely stressful, I just had spent the last 6 months getting as much overtime as I could, as well as researching/reresearching all my parts, gear, and what could go wrong. Even with all that I still did not feel prepared. I was also on graveyards, so I wasn’t biking much at all before the trip and knew I would be adjusting mostly in the first two weeks. I originially was planning a mini bike tour too Moab or Zions to do in April, but due to the weather I had to cancel that plan. I also originally planned on working till the April 28th, due to common sense I also did not go through with that.

“When I was heading to the airport on Sunday, I was extremely nervous, nervous to the extent I wanted to back out. Once I got past TSA that went away, and I feel much more confident at airports. I swear TSA skipped a step with my carry on. Once I got there, setting up my bike went pretty smoothly. Except it had a tiny issue where it rubs the front derairller as I lower the cog. I will fix that when I pass an bike shop. I tried to sleep at the airport, which went awfull. I still pushed on however.”
